Kind Words From Our Elder’s  Families

For the last year of my mother’s life we had her at Serenity. I wish we had moved her there sooner. They were so nice and cared for my mom as if she were their own family. It is a small property in a nice, quite neighborhood with a well kept backyard that my mom enjoyed when the weather was right. I can’t recommend Serenity high enough. We were blessed to have received their services even though it was for a short time.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff is at Serenity Assisted-living. My aunt has been there over half a year. They have such patience with her. The director Yenny, has a huge a huge heart and has compassion for each of the residents. I appreciate how clean they keep the home. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a place as clean as that home is. Which is very important when you have people that live there with low immune systems. Again, I cannot be more grateful for the love that they have shown to my aunt. I highly recommend this home for anybody that is looking for a home for a loved one. They treat you like family.

This place is amazing it is family owned and run and has quality care for your loved one. Residents there are treated like family. Completely different than the mass servicing facilities that service residents like a low end hotel. The residents here live there like they would in their own home with more help. care is dictated by the resident not the facility.

I am so so happy that we found Yenny and her wonderful home that she runs, Serenity Assisted Living. My mom was in a memory care facility in riverside for almost 3 years when I decided I’d like a more personal place for her where she wouldn’t get lost in the shuffle of a big facility. Yenny, her mom and her sisters take THE BEST care of all of their patients. My mom was in late stages of Alzheimer’s, she was treated like family, even though she was extremely agitated and difficult, Yenny and her mom found a way to take care of her. Even during Covid when we couldn’t visit, I was always updated with pictures and texts. I would HIGHLY recommend Serenity Assisted living to anyone who wants a home environment, who wants their loved ones to be truly cared for. It takes a VERY special kind of person to be able to deal with and care for Dementia/Alzheimer’s patients and Yenny and her family are really those people. I would not have wanted my mom anywhere else in her last months of life, Yenny did everything she could’ve to make my mom comfortable and stayed up with her all night during her passing, and we couldn’t be more grateful to her.
